Hi everyone,

I've just ordered my new build, and just realised that I may not have chosen the correct power supply?
I got a Corsair CX-500M obviously 500 watts,
however the card that I've ordered (Gigabyte GTX 670 2GB Overclocked) specifies on the website that the system power supply requirement is 550W? will the PSU i've ordered be ok??

Also I've ordered a Corsair H80i push/pull cpu cooler for a bitfenix prodigy case, just wondering your opinion in regards to the radiator position, whether it should be at the rear of the case w/ extra exhaust fan on the top, or h80i on the top and exhaust fan at the rear?

Thanks for any suggestions :)
-Antoni.

I'm sure you could squeeze out a great overclock. Your system really...

OK awesome, because I was reading about the clock speeds for the
EVGA GTX 670 FTW, which requires 500W or greater. It has:
1006MHz clock (1084MHz boost), 6208MHz Memory speed
whereas the gigabyte one I ordered (550W requirement) has:
980MHz clock (1058MHz boost), 6008MHz memory speed.

going off those stats surely I can overclock the gigabyte slightly to those speeds without too much trouble?
I've got a non-K i7 so I won't be overclocking the cpu at all.

I'm sure you could squeeze out a great overclock. Your system really shouldn't pull more than 400w, so you should be good. :)

Awesome! Thanks so much for your speedy responses :) I'll keep the rear mounting position for the H80i in mind as well.
