Hey , I'm new to these forums ! Anyway I am building a gaming tablet similar to Razor Edge , I am quite new to making computers and I'm rather unsure on what components I should have GPU , CPU etc. I currently have 2 parts that I would like to use they are Amd A10-5800k for cpu and the ram would is definitely 8g Samsung DDR3 RAM so can someone recommend what are some good components (also I am on a tight budget $300 , also I want it to be able to play Skyrim on medium! Im 14 so don't judge me

More about : components

The $300, does it includes the A10-5800k and the 8GB RAM.
or...
Those have to be included too?

Hmmm...14 years old..I do not think Skyrim is for you. It is rated for 18+ for some countries and 15 or 16 in other countries... I have never seen 14 ^o^
Sorry...still several years to go for you

The A10-5800k and the 8gb ram are not included I had then previously , I do not want to debate if skyrim is allowed for my age in Australia it is common for 14 year olds to play MA games . But I only am using Skyrim as a point to show you how powerful it is

2 hours of battery life?
Now I am confused.
I thought you would want to build a PC with similar specs to Razer Edge...not...trying to build a similar tablet.
You can not simply build a tablet just like that.

If you would want something like that, you must look for Win8 laptops with touch screen.
At the moment, there is no such thing as build your own tablet. (I do hope that such thing will be possible in the future)

Fitting every components into such small dimension like into a tablet will require a whole RnD and production processes.
Not exactly like building your own PC.
You are looking at the wrong direction.

I figured people would question this , It's actually extremely easy to convert a Laptop into a tablet! It may sound difficult but it's rather easy , I go back to my original question what would be good for a laptop (that will later be turned into a tablet.) I currently have a laptop that I am transforming into a tablet , I have also already built 2.

Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums,
What you are looking to do is a very lofty goal that few experienced builders would take on. Here's your primary hurdle, availability of parts - obtaining new laptop/tablet parts is difficult at best, impossible mostly. There are other greater hurdles after that but look around for possible parts (for a tablet or laptop - desktop parts won't work due to heat and power requirements) and see where you can get to in the design. We'll be here for any questions you have as you go.

Thanks A lot! I may just use similar parts to that of the razor edge , If you could list some good components It would be amazing! I have got an old laptop that I am practically rebuilding and Im using that for my project!
