I have a D101GGC motherboard. I can't find the option to overclock CPU or even change the FSB. However, I could change the memory speed from 400 mHz to 533 mHz (I can increase it further, but my windows won't start). But that's not the point.

I want to ask if my motherboard has an option to overclock the CPU. Because... there is no such option available in my BIOS. Or am I ignorant?

PS: I have a Pentium 4 511 CPU (2.8GHz, non-HT). And please, don't say that I need a to get a new build. I'll be doing that next March (When I'll graduate from high school to college).

It's an older Intel mobo, and even if it had options you wouldn't get anywhere with it...can try raising the FSB, believe this is 800 based, try taking it to 1066 if it allows it, will need to increase the vCore and the NB voltages about + 0.05 each to start....that's just a general start, what CPU do you have?

There is no option in my BIOS to raise the FSB or even play with voltages. So, is it that my mobo doesnt support, or what?

BTW, What is PCI latency timer? It is set to 64, I can set it to 32 though. What is it?
