Hi,
I have had a new PC for around 6 months and am having some problems.

Firstly on games such as Borderlands 2, Metro 2033 and Battlefield 3 I often crash then an error message in the bottom right corner will pop up saying something like "AMD Drivers stop responding and recovered successfully". Also on Battlefield I will crash and have a DirectX error however i see other people with this problem on the forums. Usually only on graphically demanding games.

Secondly I blue screen fairly regularly (one a week maybe less)

I took my PC to a local PC repair store and they re installed Windows saying there was a corrupted file however I still have the problems.

PC Specs:
AMD X 8350
16gb corsair vengeance
sabretooth 990fx mobo
h80 cooler
Asus 7870 2gb
coolermaster 650gx psu
1tb western digital black + 500gb western digital black HDD's

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Solution
1.) Have you tried uninstalling the AMD software and updating the video card drivers? If so skip to step 2
2.) Video card may be overheating. If it overheats the safety is kicked on and the video card turns off briefly to prevent further damage. It might be a defect on the video card itself.

Thanks for the fast reply, I will take a look at the temperatures and I have tried a few different drivers and had no luck.

Thanks again.
