Hi,
I've read a lot of threads on this topic. It seems common for PC gamers to have to put up with game crashes, freezes & BSODs and I'm wondering if anyone has any new tips. BF3 is now unplayable for me, since it crashes in every single game and so far I've tried:
1. Updating to the latest video drivers
2. Uninstalling BF3, deleting all game files & re-installing
3. Uninstalling video drivers using Driver Sweeper (following tutorial on Youtube)
4. Virus scanning (using Super Anti-spyware) & clearing out all Registry errors (using CCleaner)
Nothing else comes to mind right now, except it seemed to get worse as the weather heated up. Even when the room temp is around 27C the dual-GPU card temps have never gone above 85C and the CPU stays around 72C. I'm clutching at straws here but could heat be a cause?
Something else that happens occasionally is a message within BF3, something along the lines of "Kicked by Punkbuster due to a corrupt memory file".
