We have a small Asus Eee laptop. Suddenly random horizontal lines starts flickering like crazy over
the screen in red and green color - they flash quicly and can cover 5 - 50% of the screen - it goes away if I move the
screen a bit but come again.

Also the screen goes white and kicks back in occationly

Anyone who knows what the problem is and how to fix it?

The video graphics card on your laptop is dying. If the device is under warranty I would take it to the store or contact the manufacturer ASAP.

Is it not a possibility the cable is coming loose in the slot between the computer and the sceen? (think it´s just a 2011 model)

Yup, either your graphics card is dying or it could be a loose connection between the graphics and the monitor. I had that happen on an old compaq laptop. Not sure how to do it on the Eee PC but on the compaq laptop I had to send it in to get it fixed. I was able to reseat the connection and it would fix it for a little bit but would come back after some use.

It is always a slight possibility that it is the wire. The wires are usually pretty secure in the newer models though.
