The build has a 750w PSU, i7 3770k, GTX 660 ti, and a 1T HDD. How much RAM would be good? I'm, using the computer for gaming/rendering/just about everything else possible.

Solution
Rendering can take up large amounts of memory. It depends on what you're rendering, but it's probably best to get more than the standard 8 GB. 16 GB is pretty affordable still, so that's my initial recommendation. If you get it as 2 x 8GB you can always upgrade with another 2 x 8GB later if necessary.

For gaming and regular use, 8 GB would be plenty, so it's the rendering that dictates how much you'll need.

PS: If you haven't bought the GTX 660 Ti yet, you might want to consider getting a 760 instead.

I decided, that I'd just go all out and get a GTX 770, which according to benchmarks is the 3rd fastest nvidia GPU ever. :D

Can use a lot of DRAM in rendering so would prob look to 16GB, also with the data being in DRAM it will go faster with higher freq sticks which have more bandwidth, with your rig would suggest 16GB od 1866 min and prob be happier with 2133 sticks in a 2x8GB set, something like the GSKill Tridents or Snipers
