Hello Guys !! i currently own a Good Gaming Machine for now days but i have to upgrade that CPU later Since Core 2 Quad CPUs will not perform like the decent i5 , fx CPUs with the upcoming games .

This is my PC Specs :

Case : Cooler Master HAF 912
Motherboard: Asus P5E3 Deluxe
CPU : Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 Overclocked to 3.2 GHz
GPU: HD 7850 HIS IceQ X 2 GB
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2x4 GB ) @ 1600
PSU : Cooler Master GX 450w
CPU Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

so i want to upgrade to the best CPU + Mobo for the Price and the Performance

My Budget is 275 $ Maximum , i have to balance between the CPU + Mobo

what do you suggest for me ?? is the FX 6300 Good enough for an Future proof Upgrade ??

thank you ..

I say get the 8350 if there is money; it has a higher core clock, as well as enhanced ability for OCing. Also, the best chips tend to be chosen for...

I recommend the AMD FX-8320 for $160, along with the ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ATX AM3+/AM3 motherboard for $105; a little bit over, but this is an overclockable eight-core CPU, and this will do very well now, and will do even better in the future when all the cores can be properly utilized. :)
However, you may need a PSU upgrade with any CPU upgrade to come.

I say get the 8350 if there is money; it has a higher core clock, as well as enhanced ability for OCing. Also, the best chips tend to be chosen for the FX-8350, so they tend to be the chips which can OC the highest and which break the least.

So you see that it worth the Extra 30 ~ 40 $ ?

i think i will go for the FX 8350 ! but do you suggest another cheaper motherboard ?

That is one of the cheapest 990FX motherboards out there, and once you go beneath that chipset then your OCing capabilities are greatly lowered. However, the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ is a good, cheap motherboard (under $70), albeit minus the great OCing.
