Is my 5800k a bottleneck/insufficient?

Hello again guys,
Ive got to ask the question due to a previous post about a GPU selection i asked for help with. There was mention of concern of my Processor not being able to handle my prospected GTX 770/ upcoming HD9970. I'd like to run RIFT on ultra settings as a minimum standard of pc collective components. Due to some recent leaks of the 9000 series being released in october I will be purchasing then. Speculated to offer BF4 in a never settle bundle its worth the wait and id like to run high settings there also. I play world of warplanes as well. Just to give an idea of (if much) the cpu capabilities, those 3 games will be most frequent.

If the A10-5800k overclocked to 4200mhz and the Asrock FM2A85X Extreme6 will handle the load thats great. no need to go broke. if not i have a few months to get the upgrade.

with that ive been looking at some intel mobo's and cpu's and since im not knowledgeable in the area id like some suggestions and links if you have the time.

id rather overdo it with a quality board and cpu with features i wont use than cut it close and wish for something better. Given the choice id prefer a red themed board due to my rig boasting red led's in the fans and in case lighting. i like aesthetics but not a deal breaker. would like multiple PCI 3.0 slots for future sli/crossfirex to.
some links to what ive been viewing:

Asrock http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157377

Asus http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131989

Gigabyte http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128617

MSI http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130692

everything ive read says if you have an ivy/sandy bridge 3770k stick with it but if upgrading from amd go for the haswell so ill most likely go for the 4770k and use my aftermarket watercooler to stabilize the reported extra heat. My ram is overclocked to 2133 mhz so im apt to lean towards the msi product but noone can deny the performance of an asus board. im very open to suggestions at or below 250.00 for the board even if its another socket/cpu combo. as long as it will o'c and play the desired games. thanks

Well, I think i can help with at least some of your questions. The AMD 5800k APU has a cpu in it that's roughly equivalent to AMD's FX-4300 or an intel i3-2100. It's not bad persay, but it will definitely bottleneck your gtx 770 or hd 9970 (should it come out in october). As such, I would definitely upgrade your cpu/mobo.

As for your choice of cpu, at this point haswell is probably the best upgrade. I have read the same things about upgrading to ivy/haswell and it makes sense. Will you be doing anything other than gaming? If so, then the 4770k will work, otherwise I would just get the i5-4670k.

As for the mobo's, I think other people will have more informed opinions about those. Just judging by reviews and number of features for the...

ehhh.. im looking at the asus z87 deluxe atm. it advertises quad sli capability but only has 2 pcie 3.0 slots?? sorry for the ignorance but can someone kindly explain this setup other than using 2 dual gpu cards or am i missing something? id like the ability to run quad sli in this rig but id favor installing a 500.00 card every couple months rather than dropping a grand a pop. makes the wife mad when i mention high double or triple digits components lol.
thanks
