I recently purchased an Acer Aspire xc600 and would like to install a video card in its available PCIx16 card slot. I am aware of the limitations of my system (low power@220, small size) but it was all my budget would allow. It plays all the games I want at low to medium settings, but craps out on one. One message I have received says something like I need 68M of Vmemory but only 32 available. I am just looking for a little boost to my PC.

Also, a very noob question: how exactly will installing an extra 4G memory card affect my gaming experience?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Chris

4G would increase the speed of your pc, as the more ram allows for more tasks to be done, and for the GPU, I have the XC600 and I went to buy myself a HD 7750 Low Profile GPU, it works quite well even though the PSU is only 220W, so its a good choice if your looking for an upgrade

From the specs, that system already has 8 gig of RAM, adding more won't do much for you, especially given the limitations of the video card you can add to it.
