So i have a Asus z87 Pro with a kraken x60 cooling my i74770k. Im in the midst of my build but i dont know where to plug in my Kraken. It has a 3 pin plug but the CPU fan plug on my mother board is 4 pin! What do i do? my case is the Phantom 630 by NZXT. It has a fan control unit and that has 10 3pin slots can i plug it in to that? or what im really confused

Solution
4 pin cpu headers are primarily intended for pwm fans. pwm stands for pulse width modulation so the motherboard can control the fan speed. There are no adapters, or need for them.
Three pin fans have a speed sensor, but will run at constant speed when plugged into a 4 pin header. That should not be a problem.
It is routinely done.
If it is loose, perhaps you have not plugged it in properly.
Spreading out the pins a bit should make the fit tighter.
