**Hard Drive 0-DST Short Test** Test Results: FAIL
Error Code 2000-151
Validation 41612
MSG:Hard Drive 0-S/N#########,incorrect status=3E
No additional sense information

the above is the results of an ePSA Pre-Boot Assessment test . Can anyone tell me what this means.
As well the original problem is "Error C0000034 applying update operation 213 of 104874" computer will not go passed the part of the start/boot up sequence.
Any information is welcomed

Hard Drive + TEST = Fail seems pretty obvious. The HD which holds the software, files, and data has failed and will no longer work. You can try to buy and replace the HD, but you have to have a copy of Windows already on DVD to load, all the drivers, all the programs, etc. and start over. All data on the HD you have is LOST.

If this is all too complicated, or you don't have a 'copy of Windows on DVD' and this is a computer 18months or older, you might then just cut to the chase, save money (Windows by itself costs under $200) and get a new computer. Laptops or desktops at Walmart, working right out of the box $300.

Yes Sir Mr.Tancredi it is obvious however my experience with computers does not reach this level of experience, there for I appreciate your quick response with explaination and chosices to make. Walmart Im on my way!! Best Regards
