Help with RAID Card - Highpoint 2640X4SGL

I bought the above raid card a month ago and have noticed a problem with it. When i turn off or restart the computer graceful it works fine however if the computer looses power the configuration is lost. In this case I need to recreate the array and recover the partition table. I have had other raid cards in the past and never run into this issue. I have contacted the manufacture and other then having me update the driver they haven't been very helpful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I tried your suggestion and unfortunately I won't let me update the bios. I tried 3 ways The web interface (prompts failed to update bios), The software update (crashes upon launching including as admin), and via booting into dos with a windows 98 startup disk (it just hangs and does nothing).

Sounds like it may be faulty. Give them a call and setup an RMA.
