Hi guys, I just ordered some barebones parts from newegg and built my computer. After installing everything from motherboard/processor/GPU/RAM/harddrives etc., I went to power up my computer to test it out. When I turned on the power, all the fans began to work, all the lights started to work but I got no video whatsoever. My monitor just kept saying "No video input". I tried checking my monitor on my laptop and the monitor worked there. I tried checking to see if I got video from the onboard video adapter and nothing. All the plugs for the everything have been plugged in so I am clueless as to what the problem is. My system specs are:

ASUS Z87 Sabertooth Motherboard
Intel Quad Core i7 3.5 GHz Haswell processer
2GB NVidia GTX 770 GPU
16 GB 1600DDR3 ram
750W Corsair Powersupply
2TB 7200RPM harddirve
64 GB SSD

Solution
First.follow the sticky. If you can't go through the basic trouble shooting tips you'll waste your own time.

Second, and this is a very minor nitpick. But you did not home build a CPU. If you could run a silicon FAB in your house this would be the wrong place to ask lol.

I have all of the power connectors from my power supply plugged into their correct receivers and though i did not use that actual troubleshooting guide, I did go through those steps on my own.
