I'm not sure if this is the right section however, I'm not sure where else it would go. I fried my motherboard the first time I tried to build my pc so I had a place near me finish it up for me with a new motherboard. They just finished it and said everything was working, well with no os obviously. I get it home and set everything up and it turned on fine with the fans running and all that but, my monitor says 'no signal'

When I plug in the monitor to my laptop it works fine so its not the cord or the monitor. They said it should be working fine and the graphics card doesn't appear to be unplugged so I don't know what to do...

Thanks in advance.

What video card do you have? What connection are you using? I would probably try to connect the monitor a different way i.e. DVI instead of HDMI or even VGA just to see if you can get a signal on the monitor.

Bring it back to them to test it. Even with no OS you should see a screen with the BIOS.
