For gaming, it's excellent. I'd suggest dropping to the Pro4 instead of Extreme4. The Z87 Pro4 has gold caps. (prior generations Pro4 didn't) With that it should overclock the same as the Extreme4. The Pro4 is really designed for 1 GPU though. However, its $30 less.

Change HDD to Blue and save $15.

use the saving to get a SSD. Grab a Crucial M4 128GB. It'll make your system snappier. You will feel the difference.
