custom backplate airflow question

hey guys just made a custom temp backplate for my vapor x (until my 1/4 red plexi comes in) since it was getting the notorious pcb sag. i'm curently just using a 1/8'' plexi with about 1/4 of space across the whole board and its holding it nicely minus the plexi flexing a hair.

my question is is that enough space for the pcb to breathe? i do have a small slot cooler i could incorporate on one end to help vent the pcb.

or would just some simple vent holes here and there be decent enough?

also wish dwood was still making custom backplates since i was going to go that route but it seems he no longer has time to make them.

thats pretty neat i was thinking of something like that but its not really the style i was looking for. I like the look of colored plexi haha

I should cutout a slot for the core itself so it can vent i wasnt really thinking at the time when i was making it. I may cdo some small holes near the vrms to make it look like a design or something.

the only thing that sucks is one corner hole by the power connector is basically half blocked by the connector itself. Id only be able to use a super small screw to hold that side but a bread tie works for now since its temp

but i think on his site he says he still does the mod brackets for the closed loop systems if thats what you mean?

not at the moment, it was just going to be a template for the new plexi once it came in so it doesnt look super nice but it is cut perfect. ill snap one once im home.

it does look cool in the case under the blacklight
