Yeah, that's a pretty good build for 1080p. You should be fine with those parts. Because a GTX760 can run Crysis 3 on Very High at around 30 fps with a i5 3570k. So that video card and that processor should be great for most games.

For just gaming you seriously do not need that processor. You don't even need a 3770k/4770k, nevermind this one! Dropping that down to a 4670k and a Z87 1150 motherboard will reduce the price by around £450 without sacrificing any performance in-game. You could spend this money instead on SLIing two GTX 770s for incredible performance. One 770 is plenty for 1080p, but two would beast! That PSU is really not the best - got from either the TX, HX or AX series from Corsair or anything from XFX/Seasonic/Antec. If you do SLI go for an 850w. You'll only need 8gb of RAM too, which saves you some more money. :)

Yes, I completely agree here, X79 is a waste of money for gaming. If you're doing some multimedia authoring on the side I can see it being put to good use but otherwise it's not necessary. Better to spend more on the GPU and getting a 1440P display.
