Whenever I run a game such as Crysis 3 or FIFA 13 on fullscreen mode in My Dell Win7, it minimizes to desktop. After running an analysis using the Razor Game Booster, it gives the following detailed report which I actually fail to understand since my IT knowledge is average. Any help.

The GPU, it turns out usually uses Intel HD but whenever I play a game, it switches to NVIDIA. So no issues there and the drivers and all are up-to-date. After seeking help from a friend, the issue was sorted after I re-flashed the BIOS of my GPU and stopped all the automatic update processes via msconig.exe! I'm yet to figure out what the precise process is. Thank you nevertheless for all your help. Much appreciated! :)

Based on the Razor analysis, I'm going to determine it's probably because that laptop has Intel Graphics. Intel graphics aren't suitable for gaming. You either need to put out some cash for a gaming laptop or gaming desktop. Otherwise stick with consoles.

Not exactly, although it's not a high end GPU, I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1GB. I've checked and it suplorts the games I mentioned earlier. Its drivers are up to date as well!

you might want to make sure your 550M is correctly installed, because your analysis does not show it as being the video adapter in use. (see section 03 of the report).
while various NVIDIA programs are seen in that i don't think your computer is actually using the card like it should be.

recommend you check connections and make sure the GPU is properly installed.

Okay, I didn't know specs/model or anything. But yes, try updating the driver or deleting all graphics drivers and re-installing them. Also know that this GPU us going to put out low frame rates with Crysis 3 no mater what settings, Fifa 13 may be okay because it is not a twitch game, but again, low settings.

Btw it's called Nvidia Optimus, just so you know, and it is meant to save battery.
