I have a new box I'm building in the works, and I am not sure what the best power supply option is for me. I was hoping someone with a little more wisdom could enlighten me ;D

AMD FX-6100 3.30 GHz Six Core Processor w/ stock heatsink and fan
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 1866 MHz RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 660, 2GB DDR5 Graphics card
OCZ Vertex Plus, 120GB Solid-State-HDD, SATA2
Western Digital Caviar Green, 1.5TB HDD, SATA2
Western Digital Caviar Green, 3TB HDD, SATA2
Optiarc DVD RW, SATA2
x2 120mm case fans

I will want to SLI in a few years.

I was thinking something like this?: http://3btech.net/vi8020pinhiq.html

Thanks for your help!

Seasonic , XFX , Corsair minus CX Series , Antec , PC POWER.

XFX P1-650X-XXB9 650W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Will SLI 2 GTX 660's
That "Viotek" appears to be fecal, the little voltage switch giving it away as an older, inefficient, and most likely overrated design. The Antec VP and Enermax NAXN series are exceptions to that general rule, but are too small for your needs.
If you plan to run two cards in SLI, you're probably looking at a minimum of 650W, and 750W would be more comfortable. Look for something built by Seasonic (their own, XFX, some Corsair, some Antec), Enermax/LEPA (their own), Delta (some Antec), and Super Flower (Rosewill Capstone, new Kingwin, some new EVGA).
Edit: and yes, Ingtar33 is absolutely correct. The FX-6100 was tried in a SBM build a few cycles ago and was a disappointment all around.

Oh, I didn't know that :B

It's a little late for me to change that around, the processor and mobo came in a kit that was a pretty good price (I already have those parts). Maybe I can resell the 6100 on ebay =o

if you've already got it, i'd just make due with it. Down the road see about getting yourself a 8320 or something when you got some cash.

Saw this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7621664&Sku=SYX-602752OH

You think this Hec PSU is a good option? After rebate it is a fraction of the price, as well as 80+ silver.

While HEC has some real stinkers too, that one is indeed listed at http://www.plugloadsolutions.com/80PlusPowerSuppliesDetail.aspx?id=40&type=2 so is probably safe, BUT... being half the price, it may have been made with cheap Chinese capacitors rated for only 85C that won't last. After all, it is cheaper for a reason. I trust the XFX because it was made by Seasonic, and I'm not sure when they last made a mediocre PSU.
