is what i plan to use with the Asrock 970FX extrememe 3 but there arent any reviews for it so i don't know if it is any good?

For 1600, 1.5 is preferred, both by Intel and most builders (also LESS expensive), 1.65 is already at upper reaches of voltage scale so no real headroom to OC if desired or to stabilize with on AMD which isn't known for a strong MC (memory controller) depending on your CPU, may not even be able to run 4x4GB at 1600 with the timings this tight without adding voltage to the MC and the DRAM itself, for 16GB 4x4GB might look at the Ripjaws Z

lower cost and the tight timings. A better choice, again depending on CPU would be a 2x8GB set at 1.5 and looser timings, like the Snipers,

2x8GB is less stress on the MC as is the looser timings, but if want the CL7 there's the Tridents in 2x8GB, at $170 a little higher priced
