whats a better monitor for gaming. a 1080p pc monitor, or 1080p hd tv

hey i was looking at this hd tv, iam looking for a 108p monitor for pc gaming and was wondering if this 1080p hd tv monitor will be the same as a pc monitor

my Q is will this hd tv monitor be the same quality as a pc monitor 1080p

Monitors are very different from TVs. TVs aren't made for close ups, the monitor is the best choice sense the pixels are ver very dense.

Hi
That link is to a monitor not a tv.
Realistically there is very little difference between a 24" monitor and a 24"tv if they are around the same price.
If the tv is substantially cheaper then you would have to beware of it having greater input lag.and possibly poorer contrast ratios.

Yeah, but they are made for being close to, If your going to use it in a living room, or entertainment room, then go with a TV. The monitor is for a desk, and it has very clear images even when close

thanks guys al get a pc monitor. cheers. i game currently on. 1280 x 1024. will i know a big diffrence when i play in 1920x1080
