hey guys,

looking to water cool my CPU and GPU to reduce temps as much as possible,
Id like to know what waterblocks should i be looking for or should i look for something like the hydro series cards from EVGA, and not use my card i currently have?

Ive seen Chilled cooling and has anyone used this before, more just curious than anything, i would just go towards normal watercooling rather than anything else.

Thanks

EK is great. However, you should stay Acetal IMO, as Nickel can rub off and get into the water stream and cause problems. I have heard many people complain about things related to nickel plating.

nickel can rub off?
i think the nickel problem is due to what liquid and coil is used rather than the waterblock its self, itll be reacting with the nickel some how,
i like the frosted look as that would look the best in my case

Use a site like CoolingConfigurator to figure out if your card is using a reference PCB or not, then just about any water-block claiming support for your GPU should fit.

EK had some Nickel issues a while ago, they used an inferior plating method for a small period in 2011 which lead to a lot of incidents of corrosion on their Nickel plated blocks. In the middle of a PR nightmare, they then did the worst thing possible and blamed the enthusiasts use of Distilled water instead of their branded coolants as causing the issue. So they'v gotten a bad rap for it since, and its generally recommended to avoid their Nickel blocks due to their stance on Distilled water.

i wouldnt use distilled water and probably go for a solution which i know works with the ek nickel block, (white Pastel colour)

however i want to use a Cooling bridge instead of piping to connect the two cards,
but i cant seem to find them, any ideas?

i just need one that will fit with my mobo, because the spacing between the gpu is different no?

and id prefer the clean look of the ek style bridge
