Before I start ordering the parts for my PC, I was just wondering if these are all compatible with each other?
Thanks!

Also, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I just joined.

Edit:
Woops, sorry for the broken link! it's good now.

That PSU is cutting it very fine - get an XFX 550W PSU.

Get better RAM if possible as well - 1600mhz, CAS 9, 1.5V

Get the MSI Twin Frozr GTX 760 - The EVGA version is crap.

Upgrade to a WD Caviar Black if possible as well - they're faster than Caviar Blues.

What makes you say the EVGA is crap? Every review I've read says it's great.

How much more are all these changes going to cost me? I don't really wanna go any higher than my current price, I just wanted to know if they were all compatible. But I really do appreciate the suggestions, I may have to look into it. Also, I can't seem to find some of them on PC Part Picker so I can get a final price.

It is not crap best guess he does not like EVGA there for they are crap. Personally I use Gigabyte for Nvidia GPU's but I know alot of people that have EVGA cards and they have not had any problems with them. And the reviews I have read have all been good to.

TechPowerUp concluded that it was the absolute worst version, whereas the MSI version was best.

The EVGA one was:-

1) the loudest
2) had the worst cooling (highest temps)
3) overclocked pretty good, but not quite as good as the MSI.

The reviews you read are because everyone loves EVGA and can't admit when they make a sh** product (same theory applies to Apple products), OR because they didn't test the MSI version, therefore didn't witness it's supremacy.

Nope, I love EVGA.

Every single NVidia card I've ever bought has been EVGA. But their GTX 760 is really poor.

So, which of the MSI GTX 760 are you talking about?
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-n7602gd5oc This one?
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-n760tf2gd5o... This one?
neither?

And I assume what I have going right now IS compatible, since no one has said anything on that? You're just suggesting improvements?

Even with what I have going now and say that I don't follow your suggestion, would you say I have a good, compatible build?

The second one, with the 2 fans and the red stripe :p

And the build is compatible, yes :)  however, that PSU is a bit risky.

I'd recommend this PSU - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb...

Here it is updated, I don't wanna add anymore, sh*t is pricey!

All good?
Are you sure I need a new PSU? a guy I talked to said it wasn't necessary unless I was over-clocking, (which I don't plan on doing) though I always thought I needed a bit more.

Well, the estimated draw (according to PCPartPicker) is 372W. Ideally, you should give at least 100W grace. Therefore, you're looking at a minimum of 472W - round up to 500W. So 550W would be perfect.

I really wouldn't run that on 430W, but you're free to take the risk. :p

Just realised, you're getting 16gb RAM.

You don't need that much - 8gb would be more than enough.

Instead, get 2x4gb 1600mhz RAM @ CAS 9 / 1.5V - much better. :)

You sure I don't need 16gb? some people say I should if I'm gonna be doing music/video editing (I wanna get into mixing/mastering, use pro tools, FL Studio and I do some video editing but nothing extreme) or is it over-kill?
The two 8gb I have compared to the 2x4gb you suggested is the same price, I'm thinking I might as well go for the 16, but I'm not sure.
How else is the 2x4gb better?
Sorry for so many questions, I'm new to this! haha

If you're doing editing, you might as well keep it actually, especially since 16gb is the same price as 2x4gb

You're getting it really cheap, so there's no complaining I suppose :p

EDIT: Sorry, I assumed this was a gaming PC :p

Thanks for your help, much appreciated :)

Anytime, my friend :)

And hmm, I think that RAM will be fine to be honest, even for gaming. Don't worry about it :p

Anything else you were wondering about? :)

"that RAM" as in the two 8gbs = 16, or the 2x4?

and I can't think of anything else to ask, I'm gonna start ordering my parts now :D
I'll have to message you sometime if I ever have anything come to mind, since you know what you're talking about.

the two 8gbs :)  For the price, it would be insane to not buy them.

And alright mate, that's fine - I'll reply as soon as possible, which is usually pretty quick

Good luck with your build, bud :D
