Link to the build - (White case)

I've just finished configuring a gaming rig on Cyberpower, and I wanted some input from others on what I should remove, or if it's a great, "futureproof" build. My budget is $1500-1700, over that it's pushing it, due to shipping costs. If there are any components that are better to include, or even better, anything to decrease the price that I do not need, I'd appreciate some input or tips on that. I'm not really good with some comp parts like the motherboard, psu so I'd like more info and input on that as well.

Thanks!!

Extra add-ons:

i7-4770K Processor @3.5 GHz

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit - No price change from Win8

Intel performance tuning protection plan,

Extra requests for shipping handling/protection, Ultra Enhanced Packaging Solution, Cooler Master Thermal Compound Optimized for Thermal Dissipation

Professional Wiring

Noise reduction technologies (psu bracket,

EVGA Superclocked ACX Cooling GTX 760 (upgrade from reg card)

Intel smart cache system (64gb SSD-ADATA SP-900)

750w PSU (Corsair), Corsair H110 Cooling system,

Max case cooling fans (ultra quiet 500-1200 blue LED's),

Motherboard - GIGABYTEZ87X-OC, reduced memory to 8gb (Kingston HyperX),

802.11b/g/n 300Mbps PCI Wireless Adapter Network Card

Final price: $1700

if you want good value, cyberpower will never give you that. build it yourself. there is no reason why you cannot

heres what i would get
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1eZWK

-there is no reason to get a i7 when you are gaming. the futureproof thing is total bs. by the time the i7 makes a huge difference in gaming, you are running medium settings anyways and 10 fps wont make you go up the next level of graphical settings
-do not get cheap liquid coolers. get a heatsink, or get a custom loop
-the standard case is total junk and the psu gromment isnt even necessary. the psu doesnt even make vibrations if its a proper unit
-i have a proper SSD system, not a cached system. huge difference in speeds
-more powerful video card
-better psu. if you...

-there is no reason to get the z87x-oc if you are not solely overclocking. that board is built specifically for that.

I saw the build, and I was so happy to see that total price too :) See, the thing is I've never built a PC in my life and I'm scared I will totally mess up the whole process lol. If I'll get more value by building myself, then I'll forget CyberPowerPC totally, and I'm pretty sure that's what I will do, thanks so much for all that! Alright, so an i54670k would be good? It has a lower cache but I think it doesn't make much of a difference. Some people say multi threading won't make a difference till much time passes but some say it'll be useful because more games and applications are taking advantage of that feature.
Next, I'm not so sure on cooling, isn't liquid cooling the better solution than using a heatsink? Cause I'll be overclocking but not super high maybe around 4-4.3 ghz, if it's possible to OC more while the system remains stable then why not? xD
What are some good cases? & alright I'll make sure I pick a good psu for that.
- Should I go for the GTX 770? I'm not sure if that'll increase the price by a whole lot, I'll see
- I'll go with the proper ssd system, 128gb most prob
- I thought Corsair psu's are very good from what I heard, however, I might use SLI in the future or upgrade something so I'd like at least 750W
- For the motherboard, I'm not sure about that, what is a really good one for all of my components and supports SLI & high overclocking?

Thanks again!

liquid cooling is never better until you do it custom or you go with a h220. anything else just sucks

just go with my build. has everything you need to go.

a 256gb SSD is better

the psu i chose is better. its equivalent to a az750 as both xfx and corsair get their psus from seasonic

my build has it. its almost the same as the board you orignially picked, just not built exclusively for overclocking
