Hello, this is my build, during my gameplay of world of warcraft computer shut off, wouldn't turn back on for a while. I finally got it back on, error message "power surges detected during previous power on" followed by "asus anti-surge was triggered to protect system" please help, i don't have any spare parts. it keeps shutting off randomly. I disconnected the psu from motherboard and put it back.

That is a budget PSU , you should replace it with a better quality unit.

Download AI Suite of Asus website and update yr bios within that. It will also download the bios for you.

Leave the CD burner alone and try updating through AI Suite I mentioned above. Install the software and update through that (no cd's, dvd's, usb sticks needed).

Ok. Do THIS as this will be the easiest for you.

Make a new folder on yr C drive or any other drive & name it BIOS, Download yr bios file from Asus website and extract it and place the bios file into that folder. Now reboot and go into bios, choose EZflash Utility & in the left box navigate to that folder BIOS u created, click and choose the bios file and update. Simples ;)

It said its not an UEFI BIOS, and since my computer cuts off randomly, should i be concerned about updating the BIOS?

Mate I've just downloaded your bios file and its only 8.00MB. USE YOUR USB STICK, it's 1GB!!!!!!!

Format yr usb stick to Fat or Fat32 1st and go into yr bios and do what I wrot above but this time navigate to yr usb stick.

Plug usb stick into yr laptop and right click, choose format, under file system drop down box choose FAT or FAT32 and click format and that's it. Now place the extracted file onto yr usb stick and reboot computer. Go into bios and do what I wrote above. That's it. It's under a min like 30-40secs or so (never timed it but its quick). Instead of worrying just do it because eventually you gona have to do anyways and if all fails, rma the board back.
