I was looking around on ebay and I found some gtx 590 for about $330 and I was originally going to get a gtx 760, so I was wondering which to get. My system is a 4770k, MSI mpower, 8 gb ram, 750w psu, 128 gb ssd, and a 1 tb hdd. any help would be appreciated.

where do you live? the difference in power consumption and heat production between the two cards is HUGE: 365W for the gtx 590 vs 170W for the gtx 760. so while the 590 is a bit faster for now, the cover overtime would not be worth it IMO

power should be cheap enough... yeah, I agree that the gtx 590 will be better.

do prepare a higher electric bill though (especially in the summer with AC)

A 770 is an overclocked 680, plus there will have been driver optimizations since then to make the 770/680 faster. A 770 is a much better buy, seeing as its just as fast but uses only 1 GPU.
He was not asking about a 770 though ;)
