So I've been trying to do this on my own without any help but before I continue I wanna ask here. I have 3 drives now. 2 hard-drives and 1 SSD. Hard-drive A has my program files and OS and drive B has my games. Now what I want to do is copy over the OS to the SSD. Now I've been reading into symlinks because I don't want my program settings to get messed up since the SSD is going to be the new C: drive. Would I use symlinks to link files to my SSD that are on my HDD so they work properly? I'm sort of confused. Also is there a way to just make an image of the OS. Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
You can "Clone" the SSD from the HDD with the OS and it will function just like the HDD, only a lot faster. Then you can use the HDD that has the OS on it for extra storage. Clone the SSD and then install it into the same port that the HDD was booting from and the HDD into another port. Leave the HDD with the games where it is and you should be good to go.
