Hi all,

I'm building a new computer and tried installing an EVGA GTX 760. Upon boot the monitor gives me a blank screen with a "no signal" message.

-I tried connecting the monitor to both DVI ports as well as HDMI and VGA (with an adapter). I also tried using a different monitor. None of these worked.
-I checked the power cables. Both PCIe power cables are connected.
-Finally I found an old Geforce 310 card and tried it. This time the system booted up properly.

Am I missing anything? Is it possible I have a DOA video card? I'm new to this so I'm wondering if I made a stupid little mistake somewhere.

Here are my other specs:
-Asus Sabertooth x79
-Intel Core i7 3930k
-G.Skill Ripjaws Z 16GB (4x4GB) 1600 RAM
-Corsair HX-750 PSU

Thanks so much guys!
