Is company routers better than local??

I live in India and have BSNL broadband. They gave me ITI's DNA-A211i router. My question is if i go for netgear or Dlink or any other company will it give me better internet performance or not? Thanks in advance!!

Different Routers can produce better results but it is trial and error for the most part.

SO is it worth changing or will i see no difference?

It is possible you will see a difference. I had a Netgear Router that provided 2 mb a second more than the router it replaced. However I cant say if it would work for you. I can say it is possible and worth looking into.

OH!! you mean connect to router and do speedtest, then connect the line directly to mobo and do speedtest again, right???
