There was a small water spill accident. Took the power supply and the battery off almost immediately. Dabbed it. Left it to dry for a day. Now when I try to start it with direct connection, it starts but flickers with a distorted black and greyish screen. Took it off the supply. How should I proceed?

It was a laptop. It is alright now actually. Everything back to normal.
I toughened up and ran it for more than a few mins. Fortunately, no problems. Thanks for the welcome!
