Hi,

I have a Radeon 5770 and yesterday I have turned on GPU scaling in CCC and when I apply the change, the monitor went to unsupported mode and displaying a black screen with a message as the display mode is unsupported. I have tried rebooting the PC, when it reach the sign on screen, the same issue is happening. I went to safe mode and can't open the CCC there. So I uninstalled the driver from device manager, rebooted the PC and it reached till desktop normally. Then again I have installed the Catalyst driver and restarted and I can't get past the sign on screen as the screen is going back to unsupported mode once it reached the sign on screen.

I am using LG W2246 22" monitor with Full HD resolution

Please Help....Please....

Solution
Try plugging your monitor via different port or use the OSD to change aspect ratios/ display source and see if that helps. Also if you can boot into safe mode without issues and uninstall CCC from there, you should be able to just boot into Windows after that and run Driver Sweeper which should delete any remaining settings.

can you remote control your computer?
like uninstall CCC and then unplug the monitor and remote control your computer to revert the GPU scaling setting

Thanks a lot for helping me. It is finally resolved. I have tried system restore again and it somehow completed successfully. So I was able to make the changes in CCC. Once again, thanks to everyone for helping me.
