Hi everyone,

I need some help with my new H80i cpu watercooler.
I am installing into a BitFenix Prodigy on the rear wall, and have run into an extremely tight situation.
One of the cooling tubes is wedged on top of the actual waterblock. Will this be ok? It isn't too jammed, and I'm hoping the thick rubber will help me out with this. Is there any heat coming off the waterblock that will damage the rubber, as it is sitting on top of it? Please let me know asap.

Thanks,
-Antoni. :)

i wouldn't suggest it. the waterblock's temperature is higher than the temperature of the water that is being pumped through the tubes. also i don't know if this is true but the outside of the tubes (i think) is of different material than the insides of the tubes and (i think) isn't built to sustain high temperatures like the inside of the tube

I know, it wasnt my first choice trust me. I can't mount it on top because it'll get in the way of the Optical Drive, can't mount it on the front because it'll get in the way off the HDD cage, and you see my problem. I am just going to have to cross my fingers and pray it'll be alright!!!! surely all the heat will be in the radiator, not the waterblock... right??

maybe try reinforcing the part of the tube that's in close contact with the waterblock haha :)

How? It's near the end of the tube, so it is already thicker around there where it connects to the radiator.
