First off I want to apologize if I am posting this in the wrong place.

My questions are:
1) Is it possible to place these items into this case.
2) Could I still use the lighting effects.

inside of an Alienware Aurora case.

"The Alienware™ Aurora™ is fully loaded with high-performance components and ready to join you in battle. It's the most powerful microATX gaming desktop ever forged by Alienware."

Obviously I am not going to go buy a brand new alienware system just to do this. I was only wanting this case because of the look and the lighting. Some of the info I find online says yes and others say no.

I know my SSD is small, but I don't store a lot of information on my computer. I am currently using a total of 84 GB. and to be honest much of it would not be on the SSD.

Later I might get the HD 7770 video card. (I know it is older now but I don't do much gaming and the games I do play are like ghost recon online) and I am only using an Acer X163W monitor. I think it is 15.6" with max resolution of 1366X768.

Generally, the only issues with reusing an older (proprietary) case are:

1) As smorizio states, motherboard form-factor
2) System cooling
3) Front Power/Reset/HDD Activity cables.

Motherboard form-factors shouldn't be that difficult to match up (ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX).
A lot of older cases simply did not require great cooling solutions and often just have one rear 80mm fan. For most newer cases, this isn't an issue.
Many proprietary cases will (or used to) bundle the cable leads for Power/Reset/HDD Activity to match their proprietary motherboards. If this is the case, you would need to disassemble to bundle and re-insulate each lead.

As long as the case mb standoffs are standard mini atx the only issue I see is draining the liquid cooling system if it not a sealed system. For the led if there connected to a control card or device in one of the drive bays all you need do is give them power with the new power supply. I wish dell would sell cases like that one on newegg it is a hot looking case.

Thank you for your information.

That is what I am looking to find out, if the motherboard standoffs are standard or not. As for the cooling, I hadn't given that any thought. Maybe I could reuse that.
