Hey Tom's,

I have just about finalised the list of components for my new workstation build but just not sure if this RAM will work ok with the motherboard.

In theory it should be fine because the RAM is 1600 Mhz, dual channel and 1.5v which the motherboard is rated for.

Thing is it's not on the "ASRock H87M-PRO4" compatibility list according to the ASRock website and I'm now left with few options.

If anyone has an idea of whether this would work ok I would appreciate any advice.

This is the page with the list officially compatible memory:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H87M%20Pro4/?cat=Memory

and this is the RAM at the store I will be buying from:
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_218_1125&products_id=23393

Thanks in advance.

I discovered this RAM kit "Kingston HyperX KHX16C10B1K2/16X (2x8GB) " that's actually on the compatibility list and cheaper than the Corsair so I think that's the safer bet.

Unless there's a good reason against this decision?
