Do I need 32GB of RAM?

I am new to the world of gaming computers and I am not sure how much RAM I need. I saw 32GB of RAM that was on sale and I am not sure if I need it

NO you don't. 2x4GB RAM is plenty. Gamers won't need more. If you do heavy editing work then 16GB, if you do insane editing work then 32GB.
