TV Cards - which one?

Hey guys,

Im going to be moving in to my new university house in a few weeks and Ive decided that instead of bringing my TV down with me, Ill just get a TV card for my PC.

This is an area I have literally no experience in and therefore wanted some advice (card examples, what to expect etc)

Price range: -£120

All help is appreciated!

They have tuner cards that will simply take in the signal from a wall outlet or cable box with a COAX cable, those are a bit cheaper and you probably want to look at a reviews to find one with an interface you like. They also sell tuner housings, I don't know how else to describe it, but basically it has a slot for the TV tuner card that is present inside of a cable box. Then you can simply rent the tuner card from the provider instead of the whole box, and I have seen some that support recording up to 5 channels at once in this fashion. Sorry, don't have time to pull up direct recommendations.
