1600x900 monitor vs 1920x1080 monitor.

Should I go with 20 inch 1600x900 monitor or 21.5 inch 1920x1080 monitor?
I have a tight budget which is 125 Us Dollar.
I will use this monitor for gaming and office work.
My current monitor is 17 inch 1280x1024.

I will get the 1080P as it looks much more future proof for gaming and office work.
