Please give your opinion! Best CPU matching current hardware.

Hi, I am thinking of getting a new CPU and wanted to hear from You guys what You think is the best choice.

Budget is around 300 USD.

My current hardware:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor (4 GPUs) ~3.4 GHz
MOBO: ASRock M3A770DE
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
Harddrive: Samsung HD 103SJ ATA Device (1Tera)
Power: OCZ600MXSP (600W)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870

So I'm thinking to switch off to the intel CPU, I was recommended these:

- Procesor Intel Core i7 4770 3.4GHz
- Procesor Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz

The main difference is ofcourse the price. The i5 is nearly 20% cheaper.
Wondering if the i7 is worth to invest in matters of future developement.
Also wondering if my power supply and/or mobo needs replacement with the introduction of one of these.

go with i5, you can overclock it to 4.3 Ghz with a decent cooler in the future and should give you performance clost to the i7 in gaming but you should go with the i7 if you intend to do some video editing and other stuff.

It is for gaming purposes only. Also I have no idea of overclocking so I won't porbably be doing that.
Do you have a suggestion towards mobo or power supply, or is tha enough as it is?
