I am working on a new computer build for gaming and photo editing. I am planning to use a GTX 760 graphics card due to cost and performance considerations. My build currently is using the Asus but I am considering the MSI and Gigabyte cards as well.

My plan is to use two 24” monitors with the computer in the future. This should be very helpful with photo editing.

My questions are:

Which one of the 760’s is best?

My goal is to have a very quiet system with good performance. Which card has the best noise to performance?

In the future I may add a second card for SLI to improve performance. Would this change which card would be best?

The quietest card while under max graphics load is the MSI GTX 760 TwinFrozr Gaming.

The EVGA GTX 760 SC w/ ACX Cooler is the loudest when under max graphics load.

Performance out of the box (i.e. factory clocks only - without any manual overclocking) would go to the EVGA GTX 760 SC w/ ACX Cooler followed by the Gigabyte GTX 760 WindForce OC.

Dude the EVGA card has a higher overclock of course it will be faster *facepalm* I guess you don't know anything about manual overclocking. Love EVGA fanboys they could make a cooler were the card is at a constant 100C and they would STILL buy it.

So you've completely ignored the OP's requirement:

My goal is to have a very quiet system with good performance. Which card has the best noise to performance?
Apparently graphics card fan noise is of a concern to the OP.

The noise difference between the MSI GTX 760 TwinFrozr Gaming and the EVGA GTX 760 SC w/ ACX Cooler is substantial. Based on human hearing perception the EVGA card's fan noise is twice as loud as the MSI card's.
