Well, use such a highend GPU like 7950 with lowly Athlon II X4 is a bad idea..your card will severely bottenecked..

Go with FX6300 / 7870, but make sure that you get the XT/LE version of 7870..this will be much faster than 645/7950 combo..

I would say the FX-6300 + Radeon HD 7870 is the better choice since the CPU will not bottleneck the graphics card. Below are CPU performance charts. The Athlon II X4 640 is listed, but the FX-6300 is not, but the faster FX-6350 (by 400MHz) is listed. The graphics card is a nVidia Titan. Notice the big difference in game performance in Metro 2033.

In Crysis 3 benchmarks the previous generation FX-6200 is in the benchmarks instead of the current generation FX-6350. But there still is a pretty big difference in performance against the Athlon II X4 640 using an nVidia GTX 680.

If you are not plan to overclock, well, MSI Computer 760GM-P23 maybe a good cheapest board you can go..
It's even support 8core FX8350..

that board limited with 95watt CPU..
well, this is hard to find the fx6300 equivalent from 95 watt Phenom line..
Phenom II X4 960T is the closest one, the fastest available processor with 95watt tdp..

FX 6300 is a 95W TDP CPU...the 6350 is a 125W TDP CPU...but the 6300 should be fine on a 95W board.

Since it's hard to find any thuban X6 or phenom X4 955/965 with 95 watt tdp, so his fastest choice is X4 960T..

and you try compare this single core sempron with hexa core fx6300...

There's no way sempron will match fx6300 peformance..

like i said before, Phenom II X4 960T is the closest one to fx6300, the fastest available processor with 95watt tdp, which is your board supported..
