MSI Mobo Beeps

Hey guys, I own a MSi 990FXA-GD65 mobo. It beeps on start up. A techy friend of mine claims theres a DRAM problem if there is one short beep.

Everything seems to be working fine though. Is this an MSI thing? To beep once before splash screen?

None of MSI's manuals state anything along the lines of system beep codes... I wonder if they simply overlooked this? I can't find any anywhere... There have to be beep codes for that mobo, because the LEDs only refer to power states. Peculiar...
