I'm wanting to know if those graphics cards above are compatible with my current motherboard. Here is the current computer I have. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c03054468#N87 I know the psu isnt capable of powering a gtx 760 or gtx 660 ti so I will upgrade to a 600w. The only problem I have is if the pci express slot on my motherboard is going to work with either of those graphics cards. The motherboard I have doesnt state if the pci express slot is 3.0 or not (which I doubt it is) so I'm not sure if it will work with the 3.0 graphics cards. Please help. Thanks!

it will work with the cards as pci express is backwards compatible, but if youre running an athlon x2 processor (just the default one on the page), the system will be pretty heavily gpu balanced, and you wont get your moneys worth out of the upgrade.

what CPU are you running? Athlon wont handle it but anything thing in the phenom ii x4/6 will. I run a Phenom ii x 4 965 BE with the mobo i mentioned before and GTX 670 with a 550w PSU (a decent one) and that get on average 55 fps on farcry 3 and that with max settings and full AA ect.
