I build my pc a few months ago and suddenly today it's performance in game dropped horribly.
My cpu doesn't go up from 20% activity when yesterday it was at full load in world of warcraft of far cry for example.
Yesterday i got full 60 frames per second on both. Now i get 10-20fps.
I haven't changed anything?
I checked my cpu fan and it's working, It works fine when rendering an image in Maya 2014 my Asus AI Suite doesn't tell me it's overheating or anything. It just doesn't want to use it's full potential in games i really don't know why.
my specs are:
Mobo: Asus P8z77-V
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600k @3.40GHz
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16.0GB
OS: Windows 8 pro 64-bit
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5
