PCIE 2.0 4x enough for 7870xt?

I would avoid using the X4 PCIe slot for a 2nd card. It will drag down performance of a card that size. I tried 2 cards in a X16, X4 board quite awhile back with 2 x HD 6850s. The result was depressing. Very slight FPS gains in some games, no gains in other games, and even loss of FPS in a few games. Also you will experience micro-stutter in some games.
