My system turns on for 5 seconds or so then shuts down. Fans, cooling everything start up for roughly 5 seconds then stop. I just installed a new power supply. Corsair TX 650.
Go into the BIOS and check DATE/TIME, set them, they are prob wrong, then find the drive boot order and set the priority to your C drive...sounds like you lost the CMOS when changing the PSU
New...are all the power connections tight, 20+4 to mobo, 4/8 to mobo by the CPU, the GPU all the SATA connections, any/all fans - may even have gotten in effect os DOA PSU, maybe not Dead/Dead but headed south

I'm trying to but when I go to hard disk boot priority the only option I get is the "Bootable Add-in Cards" nothing else. Also the date and time were all fine.
By the way it makes the beeping noise when booting up, I get into BIOS but it just look like the HDD is being read or anything.
Get the Mobo Manual and look up the beeps (POST Beep) pattern your hearing. They are the audible ERROR code to tell you what isn't working. As for the HDD, check the cabling on it, try a different port, try a different cable, then lastly connect the HDD to a different computer and see if it comes up on that other computer BIOS. If still no dead HDD.
