Hello. I have ran into a problem where when I run Napoleon Total War or Civ 5, my computer will freeze about 30 mins into the game, almost always when I end a turn. I will then have to manually shut down my computer. However when I play a game like Arma 3 or use Dolphin Emulator for 2+ hours, everything runs fine. Could anyone spare information on what this might be. My computer specs:
i7 3770 cpu
gtx 560 gpu
ASRock z77 extreme 3 mobo (installed only 2 weeks ago)
8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram
850 watt power supply
Thanks :)
*Update* I was playing a game called Cube World and alt tabbed. When I tabbed back in it froze and I had to restart my computer.

Tom Tancredi, are you high? You are telling him that a 560 is not enought for a game that needs a nvidia 6600 minimum and recomends a ati 3870?!
Shinkiro, dont listen to that guy.

First thing is first:
Update your drivers, DirecX and Microsoft framework.
After that, install the DIrecX that came with your copy of those games ( should be a folder for that).
After that, try compatibility settings for those games (they are old and may have issues with more modern windows enchancements).

I have heard of problems regarding turn based games as they tend to save the current stage of the game each time a turn ends. If some form of proteccion blocks the game from doing those saves, it could be freezing your PC.
However, try the other options first.
1) Your stating you have a gtx 560 gpu? Is that correct?
2) If that is correct that card really isn't up to snuff for some games (as your potentially seeing). You should either have a 6xx or 7xx series.
3) Arma 3 is not made the same way as Total War, there are some distinct differences for rendering and such. The card is probably pushing itself then overheats and fails. Again I would HIGHLY suggest a 6XX series with proper cooling on it (you have a great PSU) and then update to the newest drivers (they were just released).
4) You can try and see about a VBIOS update and drivers update, but I wouldn't put much stock in it.
