decreasing ping through ethernet fromm extender

im currently getting a high pin level. because the route is so far away i am connected to an extender. is it possible to increase it by connecting the pc and extender via ethernet?

Yes, closing the distance between signal reception and router will always improve ping. I used to do the same. Eventually I bought a long LAN cable cuz I could route it in a way that was invisible.
