well i was planning to buy a radeon hd 7750 but when i came to know (via some other websites)
that the amd hd 7700 series have some compatiblity issues with older pci-e versions...but we all know that nvidia graphic cards have no compatiblity issues with older pci-e versions .so i lost all my hope from amd side and considered a gtx 650 instead of 7750..but power supply was also an issue for me(i've a generic 450watts psu) so how can i leave 7700 series (lol).but now i've came to know that amd hd 7750 is compatible with g41 chipsets motherboards (mine one is also a g41):-

see this person system specs as he has a perfectly running 7750 on g41 chipset

this person also has the same problem like i have and see the results now ....that he has a running hd 7750 on a g41 chipset (pci-e 1.1 *16 slot)

so i want to know the final verdict from all of you about this so called "pci-e version compatiblity issue with radeon hd 7700 series".should i believe these peoples ? should i buy this card .i don't want to waste money on a graphic card which isn't compatible with my motherboard .

I haven't heard of that one. But I don't think it'll have any compatibility issues. I also have a PCIe 1.1 x16 slot and G41 chipset and I was worried about the same thing. Thorough research told me not to worry about anything. Another fact that you might be wondering about, there isn't even a discernible performance drop between a PCIe 3.0 GPU being put in a PCIe 3.0 slot and one that's put into a PCIe 1.1 slot.

And also about that GTX 650, why are you worried about power supply issue? That card doesn't require auxiliary power, and as far as my memory serve me I remember that it only requires a 400W PSU... so you should be good to go if you're worried about compatibility issues with the HD 7750. :)

EDITED: Sorry, I just checked the specs for the GTX 650 and IT DOES require auxiliary power.  My bad. It's just that I have that same card (an ASUS variety) and it doesn't require aux power.

I've purchased an asus amd radeon hd 7750 1 gd5-v2 and its working flawlessly without any compatiblity issues ...and its working on my pci-e 1.1*16 mobo (intel dg41rq) and with my generic and cheap quality psu without any problems.
