Hello all –
I am attempting to build my first gaming PC and I figured my best bet was to seek the expertise of the community. I was basing my specs off of Borderlands 2, Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 and am hoping to run those on highest settings with room to upgrade down the road. I will list the parts I looked at so far, and I wanted to make sure that they will fit together correctly, run optimally, are trusted parts, won't overheat, etc. I am open to suggestions for replacing anything on my list but price-wise these matched my budget so I’d like to keep them if they are worthy. Also need advice on anything I am missing.

When are you purchasing the parts ? This week or next hopefully.

What is your budget ? Roughly $1000 after monitor, keyboard, mouse

Your location : Chicago, IL

Your preferred sellers/websites : Newegg, Amazon

Do you plan to upgrade this PC ? Not for years, but depending on new game specs.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
